How to Make your Prints Work in Fall

Summer is the season of all things colorful and we tend to love a good printed skirt or dress for the warmer months. So, what do you do when the seasons change? Layer, of course! We turned to one of our fave fashionistas, Brandy from www.authenticallyb.com, to style the Khrista Shirt and Davida Culottes for the cooler months.

We love that Brandy opted for a neutral wool coat to warm the look up. The pop of orange in the scarf adds depth to the look, and also will keep your neck covered if necessary- lately that’s been totally necessary.

This mustard yellow print is definitely inspired by our love of African prints, but it was handprinted in India. The rich yellow/brown color looks great paired with Brandy’s black booties. We paired the original look with a black sandal in the spring, but the bootie gives you even more coverage for the cooler temps of fall and winter.
